(now that pidge finally, finally had part of her family back, she made a point to spend as much time with him as she possibly could, in between battles against the galra for the fate of the universe. no matter what activity it was, training, building tech, or simply talking, she tried her hardest to be around her brother. she could hardly contain her excitement, always greeting matt with a bright smile (earning a few teasing remarks from lance about questioning if this really was pidge, which she would return with a dirty glare).
it was another such day, the castle resting from a brutal fight with the galra, narrowly managing a win before escaping the scene and leaving the broken and destroyed galra ships in their dust. it left pidge thinking, really considering what they could do to better prepare for the battles ahead, as she was certain there would be dozens.
not long after the battle had finished, pidge changed out of her armor to something more comfortable, a baggy t-shirt and shorts, her hair tied back with a purple hairpin as she races over to matt at the first sight of him.) Hey, Matt! I've been looking for you, I need your help on a project.
